I tend to write fantasy set in other worlds with the same essential rules as our own (no magic). I also do conlangs. You can find me on NaNoWriMo and ConWorkShop.
My long-term project (presently an unfinished mess) is supposed to be a tetralogy set in the Telian Commonwealth, a confederation of seaside kingdoms with a vaguely classical/early-modern aesthetic, in a world with no relation to our own. The story follows the young high priest Cairod through the reigns of three powerful warlords, as he struggles against corrupt elites, a complacent and divided priesthood, warmongering rulers, and his own spiritual doubts. Meanwhile, Arrond, the adopted younger son of a peripheral warlord-pretender, works his way through a priestly school, pursuing his philological interests and growing into a political role mired in controversy.
Outside of writing, my life involves a lot of walks to the playground with a very active toddler; homemade bread, yoghurt, and applesauce; long philosophical conversations with my husband; and tea. I like mint chocolate.
Two writers on worldbuilding, fantasy, and whatever else comes to mind.
